Zakka 2.0 Patchwork Please

I'm going to take part of at least some of the projects in the Zakka 2.0 Patchwork Please sew along.  It started June 3rd and the first project was a pepper coaster.  On the first stop, Penny suggested enlarging the pattern to make a potholder and it better fit what I thought would be useful.

I also decided they could look like apples rather than peppers and that definitely appealed to me more.  So I made Granny Smith, Red Delicious and Golden Delicious apple pot holders!  So fun - it's a great and easy to make pattern.

See all the photos of everyones version on flickr HERE.

When you were saying peppers, all I could think of was that they looked like apples, so I was very relieved when I read at the end of the post that you made apples! LOL

Love these! (And is there a pocket on the back already?) That would be really handy!
