Fun Stuff

I made this block for the May Mid Century Modern Bee:
The tutorial for this feather block is HERE and is by Anna Maria Horner.  This was a very fun block and one I may make again.  Now on to my June block.

Next up, have you seen or bought Amy Ellis' new book - Modern Neutrals

I know it's "Book of the Month" and on sale right now at the Fatquarter Shop here.  It has some great patterns.

When Amy was writing the book, she asked for help piecing one of the quilts and I pieced Triangle Fury:

Well, look at that - my name is in her book!!  Fun times!

And yesterday I received this beauty in the Pillow Talk Swap 10:

It was made by Kristine Holland of British Colombia and I absolutely love everything about it.  Thanks again Kristine.

Hi Mary. Congrats on your name in print!!! Just noticed you have a lovely quilt in the circle category of Quilter's Show and Tell. Me too. And I really like the feather block you made for Susan. Mine finally got done and I liked the end result but wouldn't want to make a whole quilt's worth of these unless doing the strip piecing method.
