We traveled about 8,000 miles in our car since we left. It will be a while before I'll do another road trip.
We were gone for almost eight weeks and it's great to be home except for:
the snow
the cold wind
I'm so glad to be home because of:
our families
soft water
our own bed
the view out our window

I worked on this project on the way home:
II thought I would finish the embroidery, but not quite.

Welcome home Mary! Wow, 8000 miles is quite a trip. Sounds fun and tiring. Glad your home safe. Maybe spring will come early this years. I'm hoping!

Welcome home Mary I know the feeling about getting back into my own bed. That is a lot of miles did you visit a lot of quilt stores. I think spring is just around the corner although we haven't had much of a winter up here in Ontario Ca, today it is around 55 and sunny.Blessings Sandra
