Happy New Year!!

Here is a sampling of my 2010 creations!  Not all quilts for me especially with a new grandaughter to sew for!
I am wishing you a wonderful, happy and relaxing New Year with lots of time for creating!

+++++

We are now in Florida for the month of January and the weather for the next week is highs between 76 and 79 degrees with lots of SUN!
This is much better than the Minnesota forecast (sleet, snow, high winds and temperatures in the single digets)!

++++++

On the drive from Minnesota to Florida, I did lots of hand stitching on my Joseph's coat - I completed three blocks.  I think that makes 25!!
I only requested one quilt shop stop per day AND WAS THAT A COMPLETE BLOWOUT!!!
I read about and see photos of all the great quilt shops on your travels.  Well, the first one.....the HIGHLIGHTS were John Deere fabric AND camo fleece.
And for the second stop we drove a few miles out of the way to find a shop that was closed from December 23rd until January 3rd!!!

Luckily, I have my computer and am able to satisfy my fabric shopping addiction with some great online sales....whew!!!

+++++

I'll be back to show the handstitching I'm working on here in Florida.

Those photos are amazing! I just picked myself up off the floor.

Did you drive through Atlanta?? If you did then you will drive back through. I demand a meeting if soo! And I can take you to some super shops!

Happy New Year Mary!!! Enjoy Florida. I'm doing the opposite of you...left warm Florida for cold Montana ;-) However, I will be back Monday. Where in Florida are you? Close enough to visit me in Orlando? ;-) Love your mosaics of projects.

You better check out the next Quilt Shop online before going inside. I don't quilt with Camo or Fleece. I guess it's a regional thing. Have a great time in Florida! We are welcoming the new year with a bit of the white stuff on the ground and chilly temps. I've enjoyed watching progress on your projects in 2010 and look forward to seeing more in 2011.

Hi Mary! Welcome to Florida. Was the quilt shop that you tried to visit Country Quilts and Bears in Clearwater?? They close every year for the Christmas week. How fun that there are several here that are from Florida. We are enjoying this nice warm weather after a bitter cold snap a week ago. Enjoy your stay and Happy New Year!

mary what a beautiful mosaic, I would love to have finished that many projects!

and at last I made up all the sweet broderie winners parcels and yours will be winging its way to you from australia! Except I sealed it up before I could pop a little note in and then when I tried to open it all the sticky was coming undone...but well I'd say happy quilting :)
