What I've Been Sewing...

First the things you don't need to see (or not yet):

  • hemmed the sleeves on a leather jacket for Mom
  • working on black out curtains for my sister
  • butterfly Halloween costume for my granddaughter
  • caterpillar Halloween costume for my grandson
  • framed coin purse for a blog hop
  • planning a romper for my great-niece
  • a whole weekend retreat stitching on my machine pieced hexagon quilt (almost finished)
And now for a fun finish:

This quilt is 62" X 80" made with Salt Air line by Cosmo Cricket for Moda.
I used the 3 1/2" finished Drunkards Path die with my Accuquilt Go Baby.
A special THANK YOU to a very sweet and generous friend for the gift of these beautiful fabrics.

Gorgeous!

Do you pin your curves or are you a non-pin curve hero?

Wow Mary what a beauty!! I adore circles and the fabrics you have used are gorgeous. Also a few of the pics aren't showing, so I clicked into flickr and saw them all there. I love the stripey border too. xo

Wow. Those are great quilts. I have not mastered sewing curves yet. Is it hard to sew leather?

Mary, I could only see one photo on here, so went over to Flickr and looked at them. The quilt turned out absolutely amazing...I love it! And both of those borders just really set it off. Wonderful job (as usual!)!! :o)
