Swap Reveal

Before we said our goodbyes at our third annual quilt retreat in July, we decided on a secret swap of a "happy" among attendees to be sent out this fall.
I learned at the first retreat that a "happy" used as a noun is a handmade something special for a special friend.

Well, now it is time to reveal WHO got our name and WHAT we got!

I would have been thrilled to receive my "happy" from any one of these talented ladies, but Amanda Jean of Crazy Mom Quilts fame drew my name!

How could I ever be SOOOO lucky?

I am now the proud owner of an original Liberty Tana Lawn Pinwheel doll quilt by the ultra talented Amanda Jean!!

Look at all those prints, and that beautiful hand quilting! Isn't it just THE BEST??

Along with the doll quilt beauty I received three beautiful pieces of fabric that will be perfect for sewing for the grandbabies!

Thank you so much Amanda Jean. This is certainly one HAPPY swapper!

Ooolala, what a great package from your partner! Love that adorable mini quilt. It's always nice to get fresh fabrics to play with too. (i-spy a familiar butterfly card in there too ;))
