January is my month in the Two's Company Quilt Bee and here is the block I chose:
I'm not sure what I'm going to do when I get the other eleven blocks back, but with your help, I'll come up with something.
I just always wanted a red and white quilt and not necessarily a traditional block, so this Circle of Geese by Piece by Number is it! I pre-washed Kona Red and Kona white before I sent it out to my bee members.

These Gadget Bags by Natalie Lymer have been on my to do list for a few years...even before I got back into embroidery.
My friend Darlene of Quilting Daze offered AND did the embroidery for me!!!
The fabric I used with them is Sugar and Spice by Riley Blake. Doesn't it go great with the embroidery design and floss colors.
Thank you again Darlene.

I made another set of bean bags and bag to carry them in for our grandson Patrick:
These bean bags are a tutorial found here at Chez Beeper Bebe.
The bag is the Lined Drawstring Bag from In Color Order and the tutorial is found here.

Love those pouches! The fabric choice looks wonderful with the embroidery. Great job with that one, Darlene! You think I can get her to finish my Birdie Stitches?! LOL! And the drawstring bag. I think I have that tutorial bookmarked already. I'll have to check.
Love the argyle in your sweet little bags and those numbered bean bags are cute as can be.
Here I am...leaving more goopy comments. Love your bags etc....very sweet indeed. Thanks for the links to the tutorials too!

What great colors for a boy. I bet he will enjoy them. Love, love, love the pouches. I am such a sucker for any kind of bag, pouch, or wallet. Pretty job on the stichery, Darlene! How nice was that?
I need a friend like Darlene! What adorable bags.
cute cute! How nice to have a friend who did that adorable embroidery. Happy New Year, Mary!
Got your fabric today! Hope to start and finish piecing at ou MQG sew-in on Saturday!
I really like that red and white block...and I know someone as creative as you is going to come up with a great design for a quilt! The pouches are awesome...Darlene's embroidery looks great on them! The bean bags and drawstring bag are pretty cool, too! You've been a very busy lady! :o)
XOXO,
Cyndi
You have been productive, I love the sewing bags and the embroidery on them. The block looks great too.
The circle of geese block looks a bit difficult to sew. The triangles look like they are floating in the red fabric.
Awesome block.
You and Darlene make a great team.
Love those little pouches. And Sugar and Spice is one of my favorite lines of all time!!!
