The one thing I wanted to get made for ME before we travel is a new wallet.
I found this tutorial by Confessions of a Fabraholic that included everything I was looking for: zip pocket, room for credit cards and pocket for cash.
Here is my finished wallet:
It's not perfect (rabbits could have been centered better, zipper is rippled and some stitches aren't even) but it will do the job!
It's 7 1/4" by 3 3/4".
+++++++++++
Please stop by Sew We Quilt tomorrow (Thursday, January 12th) when I will be guest blogging about another use for a tool I talked about before!!

cute cute cute!!! I may have to make one for myself but those inset zippers aren't my friend. I tried to do one of those once before and failed... miserably!
That looks great. I love the fabrics.
Pretty good! Zipper insertion can be tricky.
Cheers,
Robyn
VERY nice! (i think you are brave!)
Love the wallet and no one would notice the imperfections you mentioned except YOU. Your fabric choice is adorable.
As much as I would like to have one myself there is no way I can master the inset zipper :(
Fantastic wallet! I love that fabric!
It looks like the perfect wallet to takealong with you.
Looks great to me!
Great wallet. Love the fabric, too.
Good luck with the tool tutorial!
Mary I love it! I've never seen that tutorial so thanks or the link. It looks so pro and the bunny fabric is adorable.
I love this! The bunnies are adorable!
Wow - it's great!! I just looked at the tutorial! You have a LOT of patience my dear! I do enjoy a challenge - so I just may give it a try! Maybe do a few at one time? lol Thanks for sharing!
It's so fun to have a new wallet, especially when you made it yourself, isn't it? Very cute!
Oh my gosh, you are so talented!
sweet wallet...but what I love is the sheet you displayed it on!! Those sheets were my yellow bedroom sheets as a child....my sweet mama always took such effort to decorate our rooms in a lovely way...for us to enjoy of course, but also because she had sooo little while growing up and wanted me and my sister to have it all...THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES !!!
