Final Birdie Stitches (plus one)

My method of embroidering the Birdie Stitches block is to cut the square of fabric, trace the pattern, embroider and then add the patchwork around the edge.
Well, that is what I did for December's block and was NOT happy, so I did it over and here is my finished result:
Now I'll show you my first attempt:

Those birdies were not happy with their tails pinched off!!!
I'm all set to put this quilt together!! Yahoo!!

Thank you Corey of Little Miss Shabby for a great BOM!

Oooh, thanks for showing this, Mary. I am waaay behind on these stitcheries, but I was doing it like you did. Perhaps I'd better try it the other way! :o\

Can't wait to see the finished quilt!

XOXO,

Cyndi

Pinched tails. LOL. Very nice Mary! I really need to get on the ball and finish my blocks.

So cute :-) I'm looking forward to seeing the finished quilt! No pressure of course :-) I do like the redo block better. I have something I need to redo myself.

Now maybe you can make a little Christmas pillow with your extra block. This will be such a cute quilt when its put together.
