Where have I been?

I haven't been sewing garments for YEARS (except for the Itty Bitty dress for Audrey) and here is what I've been doing for the past week:

It's an Old Fashioned Baby Christening Gown for Audrey and it hasn't been completed yet.  Plus I still need to make the slip and bonnet.  The fabric is Batiste and there are things like "entredeux", "lace insertion" and embroidery that includes "bullion stitch", "feather stitch" and "pinstitch."

Baptism is July 18th - I can do it!

++++++++++++
We had a great weekend.  Audrey had her first exposure to the pontoon and the lake on Saturday.  She loved it.  Mommy and Daddy had a chance to get in a good swim while Audrey slept and I held her.

Then on Sunday our guests decorated the pontoon and we were in the boat parade.

My niece looked pretty cute!

 So did my brother!

Now back to sewing!

You can do it. How precious that will be to have her christened in the gown you made.

Oh my gosh...you are courageous! I used to sew complicated clothing, but gave it up for quilting. Much more fun for me as there is no possibility that I sew a sleeve on inside out when I'm making a quilt. lol
