Silly Me

I have about 30 more Joseph's Coat blocks to hand stitch.
WHY did I only pack THREE to bring along on this 2 1/2 week road trip?
I finished two already on the way to Arizona:

Here they are sitting in the cacti:

Why didn't I bring more to work on???

Oh, Mary...you ARE a silly girl. I'm sure you'd have gotten many more finished. OH, well...maybe you just have to plan another trip soon and take them along on THAT trip! I love how they look.....especially nestled in that cactus.

Mary, you'll just have to stop at a quilt shop on the road trip and pick up something else to start. I love the Joseph's Coat blocks you've sewn.

Because thay will give you another opportunity to start another project.

Love the Lila Tueller fabric. That always happens!! If you had brought 20 you wouldn't have done any. You've brought three and there is time to spare. So sorry.

Only 30 more! I'm way behind as usual. I took four away for three weeks and only got one done, lol.

Your Joseph's Coat is going to be beautiful. This is a design that I've really wanted to pursue. I also love hand work, especially while traveling. I tend to take way more than I need. So sorry you are short a traveling project....but think of it this way, you now have more room to buy stuff while you are traveling! Or, if you wish, I could send you one of my UFOs.

Wonderful blocks.

I guess you just need to find a new project to work on. :)

I like the look of your blocks and the purple is a great contrast for your background choice.

Wow, they fabulous on that dark fabric, I guess you are going to have to find a quilt shop and pick up some kind of kit.

Very Cute!!! Okay, if I were you - I'd hit a quilt shop, and start a new project for the trip -- since you worked so hard, and got those blocks finished more quickly than expected!

Oh well, now you will just have to find something else to work on. Love the photos in the cacti and how earthy your blocks look.

Stop at the nearest quilt shop and find another project to work on!

They are beautiful, and they match so well with their surroundings. Enjoy your trip! I vote for a quilt shop visit as well.

I did the same mistake on the trip to Florida. I had one quilt to stitch the binding, I was planing to have another one to do binding but I run out of time to sew the binding on.

Maybe if you stop at some quilt shop you get some other project for hand sewing?
