I used to know how to crochet!
I got out this baby blanket I made for my son 32 years ago, washed it and gave it to him and my DIL when they made a surprise visit for my birthday yesterday. I actually made it before he was born (back when no one knew if they were having a boy or girl).
I think I would need to start with a class if I wanted to crochet again, but I did a lot of it back then.

Have a nice day!
That is so adorable Mary!
Very cute! Oh Mary it's like riding a bike, you never forget. What a treasure for son and DIL.
That is super cute Mary!
How nice to be able to pass it back to your son now that he is grown! I just started crocheting again after a break of many years and like the other said...it all came right back as soon as I started!
How cute is that. A wonderful heirloom.
What a pretty blanket and how nice to pass it down a generation now!
What a piece to cherish. I'm curious, what did your son say? Did your DIL appreciate the sentiment more than your son?
Very cute! I'm sure you could pick it up easily again if you wanted too.
I love to crochet and your afghan is darling. It's like riding a bike...you could do it again!
That is so cute
Love and hugs Gina xxx
That is so sweet! What a pretty blanket to cherish and hand down. I love it.
How cool is that. I have all my kids first quilts that their great grandmother made and will give to them when they have kids too. Can't wait.
Very pretty....Thanks for visiting my blog and best of luck in my giveaway!

My mom surprised me with all of of the handmade blankets from her baby shower (that were for me) at my baby shower. I was very touched and didn't know that she had them. This is very special.
OMG! My mom made that same afghan for my brother when he was born. He's going to be 37 this year...small world.
