Hand quilted feedsack quilt finish

Hand quilted feedsack quilt finish

You may have seen this last summer when I finished the top. It is called Rummage and the pattern is by Sandy Dunphy.

I finished hand quilting and binding it on our way to / during / and on our way back from Florida.

I enjoyed this so much that I feel bad it is finished and I don't have anything else ready to quilt right now.

Guess I'll have to do something about that.

That is just gorgeous. I love your fabrics you used. From the looks of the finish, I am making bets that you are home again. I'll bet it was great seeing the little ones again.

You're one of the few people I know who hand quilts. This is an especially pretty finish. Seems you made excellent use of otherwise wasted car time. I'm betting you're happy to be at home again.

I'm impressed that you were able to quilt an entire quilt top on your trip. I drove back across the USA one time and only got a quarter of the quilt top quilted on that trip. You are impressive!

I know what you mean about not having one in the line-up. I just finished my sampler quilt from MCM blocks and sat around staring out the window today, or at least it felt like it. I finally started on the next circle block for my series, so the day wouldn't go completely to waste!
