"Happies" were exchanged:
How lucky am I? These are such generous caring friends!
And I guess I never showed a full photo of the pencil case I made everyone:
I embroidered their names on the other side and included this luggage tag:
I brought three project along. I finished the Super Tote, half of the blocks for Spin Cycle (see blocks on left of design board behind group photo).
Next year's date has been set and two friends that didn't make it this year are planning to join us again!!

What a great group... it had to have a blast! I love all your smiles. Looks like great projects were actually being made as well!
Those are the cutest pencil cases!!!! Sounds like a great time on retreat. One of these days I would like to go on a retreat like that.
Very fun pencil cases! A retreat sounds like a lot of fun : )
Lovely to see you Mary and your friends.

This looks like a wonderful weekend! I so want to do one of this retreats or Camp Stitch a lot....or some version weekend of fabric, food and friends!
I had such a fun time Mary!!! It was great seeing you again, and I love my pencil case and luggage tag. You're the best.
It's so danged cool that you and your friends (some of whom are my friends too) are having such a fun time each year. My hope is that someday I'll find a few close friends with whom I can do a similar retreat. People willing to do do such a thing aren't easy to find. You mus'nt take those friendships for granted! Continue to have fun!
