No coffee on the deck this morning....

We seem to have a problem switching over to spring - someone forgot to hit the right button.

Out the window of my sewing room just with what came off the roof.

I had six fat quarters of Salt Air left and used it to make a set of napkins since I am using the "quilt" as a tablecloth.  Makes me think of spring.  They are laying on the Drunkards Path table quilt.

Oh, I know with the snow!! It's almost Earth Day and the deck looks like yours. What is with that? :) At least your napkins are nice and cheery!

Yikes! So much snow!! It's supposed to be 91 here this weekend. Where is our "normal" weather? Love your napkins. I have a layer cake of Salt Air waiting for me.

Oh Lord! I just swept a layer of pine pollen off the porch and it's already covered again.

No indeed! We have had snow, but not that much! Have a cup of coffee by the fire, put on your favorite music....LOUD....and sew!

How disappointing to STILL have snow. Maybe a cozy day in your sewing room would make you feel better. Love the Salt Air napkins. At least they look like spring.

Good grief! Hang in there...the one good thing about April snow is that it doesn't last long!

You are brave to use a quilt as a tablecloth. No doubt your house must be kid-free! :) Pretty Fabrics!

I think you need to plan an indoor picnic! We are 40* colder today than we were yesterday. Mother Nature needs to have a hot flash!

You mean you still have that much snow. Ours is almost gone finally. I would cry if I had that much today. My husband finally got back to work. He was late this year because of the snow. He does cemetery lettering and can't work with snow. He now has two weeks in. Nice.

Here down under we went from summer to winter almost overnight! Maybe that, in reverse, will work for you! At least there is some sunshine in your tableware.

Oh, my gosh. I will quit complaining about the few flakes I saw today. I would want to run and hide if I saw this outside my window today!

We've had a weird start of Spring also. Still lows in the 40s which is unusual for us at this time of year. Already they are issuing fire warnings. Love the napkins and the quilt.

The only good thing about this lingering and recurring snow is that I am getting quilting projects completed!

Oh no, Mary!

The only consolation is that you know it'll be gone as quickly as it came.

Sorry about your snow, but the napkins are lovely. Good use of snowbound time. Hopefully the weather soon wises up and you get some spring!

Oh, my goodness, Mary! I guess you can console yourself with more indoor time to sew since you certainly won't be doing any gardening for a while!

Mary, I feel for you. I have relatives in Ortonville and they are getting the same as you. It has been colder than normal here in the Northwest and nothing but rain. Hang in there!

That's a tonne of snow! The fabrics are very happy ; )

We has a few snow flurries today, but nothing like this! Of course, I would have loved to have a day at home for sewing (never mind that I was at a quilt retreat last weekend).

Your napkins look great! I was practicing making some of these a few weeks ago. Your mitered corners look awesome :)

Love the napkins, I need to make a list and get started for Christmas gifts I think. And I love that you mitered them...we think alike!

We got a little bit of snow yesterday but most of it is finally melting… It's been a strange and lingering winter, that's for sure. Hope the sun finds you quickly!

Great fabrics for your napkins.

Love the fabrics for the napkins and the idea of the quilt as a tablecloth. I hope the fabric inspires Spring to arrive.
That is a decent pile of snow you have there. Stay warm!

I love the idea of a quilt on a table! I was just contemplating that very thing and you may have given me the inspiration I needed for that; thank you!

The fabric is gorgeous! I'll have to shop for some....hopefully it's still available?!

As for the snow -- eek! I would not handle that well at all.
