Typewriters, Pigs & Dots

I really liked the last 241 Bag (a Noodlehead pattern) I made but wanted to made another with a few changes.

  • First, I wanted it just a little larger, so I moved the main pattern piece over about 3/4 inch from the fold making the bag 1 1/2 inches wider.
  • Second, I thought mine got a little "limp" after I used it a while and washed it, so I added fusible fleece to ALL of the lining pieces in addition to the fusible interfacing on all the main fabric pieces.
  • And last, I needed TWO pockets on the interior to stay organized so I added an extra pocket to the other side of the interior.
Here is my Typewriters, Pigs & Dots 241 Bag:

I LOVE your new 241 Tote, Mary....those fabrics are adorable and work so well together. I'm getting ready to make myself another one, also. I had already added a second interior pocket...now I just need to figure out how to make those outside side pockets just a bit deeper!

XOXO,

Cyndi
