Blog Posting Issues

So no internet access at the condo for the laptop, poor Verizon access for my Ipad equals a long time between post.

After I finished my Geranium Baskets, I work on another Primative Gatherings pattern/kit - Itty Bitty Primative Pinwheels. I won this from Jan Patek Quilts.  It uses the Itty Bitty Pinwheel tool that is just like the others, but only 1 1/2 inch square and cut a block that finishes at ONE INCH.  You need a small rotary cutter (18 mm) to cut them out.

Here is what you get:
The finished mini is ten inches.  I had so much fun that I am going to make another with some fabric I brought along.

+++++++

Next, I got out my pincushion pattern/kit that I won from Portabello Pixie/Sandi Henderson.
The pattern is a color/glossy print 7" X 9" eighteen page booklet for two sizes.

This the Low Cal Cupcake Pincushion:

This was also a lot of fun to make and I'll be making at least one more.

+++++

I also brought along a placemat kit I won from Megan at Fashioned by Meg.
She also has a tutorial on her blog to complete this cute placemat.

I received this last summer I think, but now finally decided that Audrey needs a cute placemat when she comes to visit us here in Florida.
Couldn't get it turned the right directions, sorry.
Thanks again Megan for the great fabric and tutorial.

++++++

Started on the quilt I cut out at home and I have two more small projects, so I think I'll keep busy.  My Mom is coming for a week too!!  I'm so excited!

Wow! I love that tiny pinwheel quilt. Your cupcake pincushion is darling, too. I have a pincushion collection. I don't have a cupcake one, so I guess I better get busy and make one.
