Joseph's Coat progress and other updates

I have a long way to go, but I have been working on my Joseph's Coat quilt along.  I have 15 blocks completed which means I have 34 more to make!!

But you can see on the bottom of the above photo that I have LOTS of petals made for more blocks.  I want to get some more blocks ready to take on the road, babysitting Audrey etc. so I always have a portable project to work on.

+++

I have some thank you's that are overdue.
I won a great pattern for three Gadget Bags from Natalie at Cinderberry Stitches:

I can't wait to make these.  Thank you Natalie!

+++

Then I won a Cutting Corners Template Set by Toby Lischko from Kelly at I Have a Notion:

This is going to be great to use on a project I have in mind using a Pure by Sweetwater fat quarter stack that I have.  Thanks Kelly!!

+++

And I won a pattern book called Blooming Possibilities and the polka dot hat in the second photo from Abbey Lane Quilts:

Thanks Janice and Marcea. There are many great patterns I want to try.

+++

Then I won a Gift Wrapping Set during the Sharing on Sunday - Christmas in July -  from Karen at Sew Many Ways:

Thank you Karen!  It will be so fun to be prepared for wrapping some gifts this Christmas!

That Joseph's Coat quilt is going to be beautiful! Wow, you have been one lucky gal lately! Perhaps you should make a stop at one of Minnesota's Casinos and see if the luck continues. :-) Wouldn't it be fun to win big on the slots or lottery? Of course, one would have to actually play the slots and buy tickets in order to do that and I don't do either. LOL!

I have to say that I think Joseph's Coat might just be my favorite pattern. I've never made one but every time I see it I stop and take notice and my heart flutters a bit. Guess that would be the sign I must really like the pattern.

Wow Mary! I'm loving your Joseph's Coat quilt so far .... just gorgeous! I have made most of the petals and am just finishing off my first block, so I still have a long way to go, but you have inspired me :)

Hi Mary. I am very impressed with your JC blocks. I joined Kellie's quilt along too, but I've stitched only five of my blocks. You're doing wonderfully! When you mentioned you'd be taking your prepped pieces on the road and while babysitting, you struck a chord with me. I'll be taking care of my grandson next week, at his house, and this will be perfect to work on. Now I just need to prep as many petals as you have! Thank you for the inspiration.

Please visit my blog to see the tutorial I have for making a "Perfectly Portable Project Roll-Up." It's what I use to carry around my JC block project.
