Burned out bulb in sewing lamp (hard to find replacement):

(all of the above are Google images) So............................I got a ticket to Florida for a week:
My Mother (who is 89 and hasn't flown for 25 years) and I are going to spend six days with my sister in Punta Gorda!
All of the above is true. My Merry-Go-Round quilt is coming along nicely and I wish I could show you that and/or my Florida pictures once we return, but it's not looking promising for a while.

I've always heard that bad things happen in threes...you sure have blown that theory all to heck! I would be packing for a vacation if I were you too...have a wonderful trip!
I was going to suggest a fabric shopping spree but Florida sounds perfect. Enjoy!

Whoa! Not a very good week! But I do hope you enjoy your visit to Florida. We are still having some cold weather (38 degrees tonight), but it looks like it will be warming up by the weekend :-) Yea!!

I agree...it is time for a getaway vacation. Go enjoy time with your mom & sister. Have fun, relax...and stay away from rotary cutters for awhile! I hope this is bad stint is the only bad you have in the future! You've certainly had more than one should.

Soak up some sunshine for me! That waterline thing is really annoying! I think the frost has gone pretty deep this year ~ hope it's resolved by the time you land on your doorstep again. Poor girl...!

Were you a magnet for diaster? Good idea to take a break, have fun and be safe. I had a week last week just like that with burns, cuts and tripping over.

It sounds like it is true in your case, When it rains, it pours. I am so sorry that all that bad stuff has been going on with you. Busted pipes again!!! Ugh!
