I'm still kicking and still a blogger but this summer is keeping me hopping.
The Alaska cruise was wonderful.
The glaciers were awesome in the true sense if the word. That one "right" behind us above is over two miles wide.
We went on a whale watching excursion out of Juneau that did not disappoint - three humpbacks put on a "bubble basket feeding" display thay was incredible. No photos - it's all in my memory.
Yes, great food too! These were just a few from ONE night.
Right after we got back, Brandon was baptized! It was such a special day.
His cousins, Audrey and Vince joined the celebration.
Now I'm back to sewing; all of these vintage fabrics are cut & some even sewn back together.
I made two birthday postcards for some friends.
Now for the giveaway: I made this little topper using some Heather Ross fabric and I think a kitty fan should own it. To enter, tell me about why you are a fan of kittens and I will choose a random name next Monday, July 14th and send this to you.

Kitties love you with independence, personality and an occasional swat to keep you in line.
Mary I too went to Alaska on a cruise. It was amazing. What ship did you go on?
Hi!!!! Little Brandon is adorable!!!
Your post cards are very cute!!!! I do love kitties but can't have a real one right now...due to grandchildren with allergies!!!! Keep on having fun!!!!
That photo of Audrey and Vince is precious. And of course a sleeping baby is always sweet. Alaska is on my "to visit" list. Every person who has ever been has said it's incredible. Loving the vintage fabrics. :o) Please don't enter me into your adorable giveaway. Just wanted to stop by and see what you've been up to.
What a fantastic trip and the children photos are priceless. I love kitties for all the varieties of 'catitude' they can share with you.
Adorable children, and the cruise looks like it was awesome. The topper is really cute! I have 2 cats and they always make me laugh the way they try to squeeze themselves into the smallest box or basket.
It sounds like an amazing trip. You can't beat the scenery!!
What a special day it was for your family to welcome a new little one into the church. The older cousins look so cute too.
Kitties like these are the only ones I can have since my husband is allergic to them.
We've had many kittens over the years. My trademark is that I always have a cat somewhere in every quilt I make :).
Kitties are just so much fun! I love when they are doing something that they know they shouldn't do, yet when you get after them, they give you that wide-eyed "who me?" stare :)
I love kitties! Have 2 right now, and I'm dreaming of having a third soon. I think it's amazing how different they all are. Glad you enjoyed the Alaskan cruise. We went last September and had a blast.
I love how curious kittens are.....and adorable. Pick me, Monday is my birthday ! :-)
I love kitties because they are a challenge. They'll "let" you own them, if they like you...or are in a good mood. I love their independence.
I have the world's worst kitten, if that counts? I don't even think she's a kitten anymore - ten pounds at ten months old and still growing into her tail. She is my sweet baby girl even if she is going to cost us the security deposit...
I have a flame point Siamese cat named Izzy. She is a beautiful whitish cream color and has blue eyes. I think she is the prettiest cat in the world. She is "my" first cat that is mine :) We also have Mr Smuckers, who is a Himalayan. I got Izzy a few months before my sister got Mr Smuckers. She passed about 4 years ago from cancer (at 29 years old) and now he lives happily with Izz. I have ALWAYS loved cats and wanted a white cat when I was really little. I don't know what I will do when she has to leave me :( She is so playful even though she is around 6. She loves to wrestle Mr S, and dominates him. When I'm sad, she knows and comes and will lay with my in bed, but crawls under the covers and sprawls out over my knees. I love your topper. It could be the first thing that I would actually want her to climb all over! Thanks for the chance.

I had a beautiful gray tabby given to me by my daughter. She would hop up to my shoulders and lay across the back of my neck and just purr away!
I have a CAT who patrols our property and even stared down a German shepherd who tried to come down our drive! And I have a little kitty that purrs on my lap. Love them both!
After 60 years of having kitties, I'm kittyless at the moment. I love their combination of independence with affection.
I am not a cat person, I'm allergic. If I won I would gift this to my mother-in-law. She is the ultimate cat person! She has 5 cats currently. About 18 years ago she found a very pregnant stray and took her in and raised her kittens until she could find them homes. My hubby fell in love with one of those kittens (the only black cat in the bunch) and, unfortunately, she passed away last week. I think my mother-in-law would love this topper for in her bedroom. Thanks for the chance!
You sure have been keeping busy! Love that little topper. We have 2 kitties here, Taffy and Caramel. Sweet sisters. :)
So many bloggers are going to Alaska all of a sudden :) I was on an Alaskan cruise from June 6th thru the 17th.....It was definitely a once in a lifetime trip! Looks like you enjoyed your time too!!

I love cats but my husband is allergic so we can't have one !!
Hi, Mary! Loved your Alaska Airlines pic on IG. I'M a total nerd for my cats, Panda and Probie. I always wish for a dog but when it comes down to it, I can't imagine better, more social, more snuggly pets than those two. I'm travelling now but I miss them so!
I've loved kitties since I was young. They have such cute cat faces! Thanks for the giveaway!

love your pictures
Oh Mary that cruise must have been so wonderful...I'm so glad you got to go.
The pix of those grand babies....absolute perfection!
The vintage fabrics make my mouth water...guess that is good considering the deserts on the cruise didn't have that effect. Perhaps there is hope for my weight to go down some.
Smiles,
Kelly
I would love to go on an Alaskan cruise - how fun! I have eight cats and they are my fur babies and spoiled rotten! I just got back in town today and they have been wanting my constant attention and love! LOL

Not sure if the giveaway is still open but I will chance it. I love kittens because how can you not?! The feel of the rumbling purr of a cat when it is sat on our lap is bliss.
Oh so adorable! My daughter in laws birthday is coming up. She will flip if I could give her these kitties placemat
One day I am going to visit Alaska. It must be breathtaking.
Oh, Brandon looks so sweet in his romper.
I just love that hat on Vince. Too cute.
I hope I'm not too late for this, love that kitty topper! I'm crazy for my two kitties, they're my babies and have been there to snuggle with me these last few difficult months.
Too late for the giveaway, but wanted to say your holiday looks like a great experience, one that many of us will never get to do. And Brandon is such a handsome baby. He looks like he was very well behaved for his baptism.
