Girly Dress

Last weekend I was in the mood to sew a little girl dress. I chose a fat quarter bundle ( plus a larger cut of the white background print) from the Country Girls line by Tasha Noel for Riley Blake and the Olivia's Best pattern by Emily Taylor.

After a very long winter ( with lots of complaining ) spring has finally arrived in Minnesota.

I photographed all of these in our yard on the way out to the mailbox!

That is so cute. I generally grab three yards when I see cute fabric for kids clothes, but it is great to see a pattern that uses fat quarters. Where is your lovely little model? I am sure she must love her new wardrobe addition.

Such a sweet dress! I think I am ready for Fall again! It went from cold to hot here. Ugh.

Sweet little dress!

Great idea to use the FQ in panels--as usual, I need to take a page out of your book.

Your flowers are gorgeous--love it when we have flowers exploding into color around here, too.

But I was quite interested in the logo "posted with Blogsy." I've had that app for ages, and feel like I'll never get the hang of it. You are inspiration--I'll conquer it, I'll conquer it!!
