Blogger's Quilt Festival

Lot's of quilters are in Pennsylvania participating in the International Quilt Market while we stay home and use up our fabric.

Amy of Amy's Creative Side has been hosting the Blogger's Quilt Festival for years and I've been participating every time.

This year I saved my Marcelle Medallion finish for this occasion!

The pattern is by Alexia Abegg and the quilting was done by Teresa Silva of Quilting Is My Bliss .  The quilt is 56" X 56" and was so fun to make.  I paper pieced the center and the rest is patchwork.  All of the fabric came from my stash.

I was waiting for the sun to shine for photos, but that hasn't happened much around here lately!!

Thanks for stopping by.  Go visit all the other quilts.

I love this one! Great colors and the not so scrappy small crosses, surrounded by a 'calmer' fabric - a great idea!:)

This is beautiful! I love your choice of colors in this quilt. Choosing the fabrics is what has stopped me from making this quilt!

Your Marcelle is gourgeous!! I love the colours and fabrics you've used. I know you were hoping for sun but the grey sky background really looks great with your quilt.
