Fandango Birdie Stitches

I finished the embroidery for my first two blocks from Birdie Stitches from Little Miss Shabby  a while ago but just added the Fandango patchwork borders:



I chose the floss while in Florida and I did not have the Fandango fabric with me (only a photo of a layer cake) so I was worried about it clashing.

I think it turned out okay.  This was fun to stitch during the car ride from Florida to Texas.  

Waiting for block three.....

I love it! Your stitching is fantastic and the colours are wonderful together. Are using 6 strands, I've only done as many as 3.
