Happy Birthday Maya!

I made three "Snap Happy!" by Stitchin' Sisters bags for my niece's birthday this week.

I used Michael Mill Quarter Dot because the colors seemed just right for Maya.  It worked perfect to quilt diagonally around all the dots and using solid red for the trim and lining.  I filled each one with a little something too since I think nine is a special birthday and she is my youngest niece, by a LOT!

I wanted to clip the bags to the glass railing on our deck so you could see the beach and lake, but it is too bright and the bags turned out dark.

So for the first photo, I moved them over in the shade of our huge oak trees.  Anyway, we have an all glass railing that is wonderful and does not block any beauty of the lake.

Very cute! I'll bet you're her favorite aunt.

I've notice a lot of beach houses with glass railing lately, and it looks really nice. You have such a lovely view.

So cute, and I bet it was fun for her to go through each bag to see what was inside.
