It's not even the middle of the month and I've already finish my bee blocks.
First I made this block for Lisa (NymbleFingers on IG) for the Spelling Bee. This is a one year bee where each of use will choose a theme, poem or saying for our quilt. I just came up with an idea for mine that I need to ponder a while.
It really is in one row, but hard to photograph that way.
Next is my Mid-Century-Modern Bee block for Cindy. She chose for us to make a Books For Baby block(s) from the book Patchwork Please book by Ayumi Takahashi. It was so fun I made two.
It was ten degrees below zero when I got up this morning - hope it's warmer where you are.

Love your little books!! I need to get started on mine now that I have the book.
Brrrr......I would stay inside and stitch. Love your bee blocks. The butterfly fabric is perfect with the word.
Love the blocks. And it is definitely warmer here!
I love the punctuation fabric for the background of your Books for Baby blocks. Charming!
Great blocks, for both bees! Fun to see all the words come together, and in my case, everyone's style is the same, but different, which I love. Congrats on getting them done so quickly!
