Still No Quilts

I've been stitching like crazy but no quilts to show yet.

I had a dress request and she chose the pattern and fabric herself.

It fit perfect and looked so cute on her!

Two big finishes were these two Liberty and Linen Advent Calendars.

The design and tutorial are from the creative Mary Dugan on her blog. I really enjoyed making them but my fingers need a rest from the hand stitching with perle cotton.

Christmas does take over at this time of year. Hopefully you can get back to quilts after the big day.

Those calendars are adorable, and yes, I can imagine some sort fingers from the hand-stitching (I don't know how Mary does it). But that's a beautiful little dress, in such sweet little girl colors. (I assume it is for a granddaughter?) Lovely!
