Brandon will be baptized on July 6th and I wanted to finish his ________ before we leave on our Alaska Cruise.
I found a striped shirting at Joann's along with a voile for the lining. The pattern is McCall's M6221. I used this same pattern for Vince's last year, just a different view.
Speaking ov views, here are the flowers I photographed on my way out to the mailbox this week:
And here is the view from the dock one evening when I was listening to the loons sing:

Wow, you are a wonderful seamstress...looks store brought.
Enjoyed the pictures!
So precious Mary. I remember those days of baby dedications : )
Very dapper garment! If I recall from my little boy buying days, shortall might be one of the names used. Such pretty outdoors pictures, too. It is nice to have such pleasant weather that makes winter seem so long ago. Enjoy your trip!
That is a gorgeous outfit for Brandon.
You have a very pretty walk to the mailbox.
And the lake is looking lovely.
How special to have a custom made baptismal suit. It's beautiful. My kids were baptized in the same gown I wore and my Mom wore. It's been handed down in the family and everyone's used it. Fragile now, but very special.
I love the baptismal outfit! So sweet and classy. You walk to the mailbox was a beauty too. :)
Hi Mary what a sweet Baptism suit. I didn't bother with a hat for either of my Boys as I knew that within one second it would have been off and dropped! Love the pictures especially the one from the Dock, so peaceful. Thanks for sharing. Susie x
Lovely photos and the romper is adorable!!
The "garment" is adorable, whatever it is!
Gorgeous shot of the lake, too.
The romper is adorable. Lovely outdoor photos too. Have a great trip.
It's a darling baptismal romper. Too cute. And gosh, your flowers and pretty view. Maybe all that loveliness makes the rotten winter worthwhile?
How very precious the little Baptism outfit is for a special little boy on his special occasion. And how very special that you created it for him. Blessings...
