Baby Quilt

The baby shower was yesterday so mommy-to-be has seen the baby quilt I made for our grandson who is due in ONE MONTH. Now I can show you.
The pattern is One Big Cabin by Row House Creations (my friend Doris of Made by a Brunette.) It finishes at 40" X 46" and a majority of the fabrics including the backing are from Critter Patch by Alyssa Thomas of penguin & fist for Clothworks. The three large critters are raw edge applique.
Here is one more shot to see if the color look any better outside (it was very windy).
I made a felted wool corsage for her too:
It is supposed to be a camelia, but she didn't guess that (she had so many of them in their back yard when they lived in SC.)
And here is a picture my daughter-in-law took of the two cuties on Valentine's Day:
I love both of them a lot!

This is a cute pattern! The cross hatching makes a cuddly look and feel to a baby quilt.

One of the most adorable baby quilts I've seen in ages. And I'll just bet that quilt will be even cuter when the new little grandson is snuggled on it.
