Strawberry Pincushion Swap

I joined in on the Strawberry Pincushion Swap on flickr as soon as I saw some of the inspiration photos.

The Bird Brain Designs pattern had caught my attention when someone in my guild has made some of the cute little items.

I ordered the PDF file and got started since I have a good collection of wool and perle cotton.

I also did some redwork on a linen tea towel.  This was lots of fun to put together and it went off in the mail today to it's new owner!

Very cute, Mary. Whoever receives this will be thrilled! Fun fact: when Mark and I were vending at quilt shows, we were neighbors with the two owners of Bird Brain. They were so much fun to chat with.

Very cute little strawberries. I don't have much patience for hand work.
