Petrillo Bag

I tested another bag for Sara of Sew Sweetness call the Petrillo Bag.  It is a larger bag and the unique thing about this bag is that it has a padded inside pocket with a flap where you can put your iPad!

I finished this on a rainly day in Florida so I did not get any outside photos to show the actual colors.  The main fabric is an OOP Tula Pink from her Flutterby line with Moda.  I found a great deal on some at a Fort Myers quilt shop.

Finished Size: 12” long x 15-1/2” tall
The pattern is available here.
Sara had LOTS of pattern testers so you can see MANY versions on her blog.

Bags are the type of item I never have too many of and this one is wonderful. I don't have an iPad but how smart to protect it with a padded pocket. Lovely!

I saw this on Flickr and loved it. Really cool. What shop did you find the fabric at in Ft. Myers? Gotta make sure I'm not missing a great shop when I go down there!
