Sewing that missed the blog.

I had a gap in my blogging that I want to fill in.

First - a quilted bib for a friend who is expecting her first baby

A little outfit for a granddaughter due in April (pattern is Oliver & S Layette).

A tree skirt for the little tree in Brandon's room (with matching Santa ornament).

Sew It Goes Tote (for English Paper Piecing) pattern tested for Crispy Kristin. Pattern can be found HERE.

Tooth Fairy Princess Doll for Audrey (tutorial by Samantha Liz on Sew Mama Sew blog).

Pillows (24" X 24") as Christmas gift for my Daughter-In-Law.

Christmas dress for Audrey (fabric is Michael Miller Glitz with metallic arrows.

Pillow for my daughter (embroidery pattern by This N That Designs).

And for a little change of pace "my" family at Christmas!

The resident doll "Quilty" needed a Snow White dress.

Paper pieced dove (pattern by During Quiet Time) - still needs to be made "into" something.

Filigree Double Zip pattern tested for Sew Sweetness.

Another finish!

My friend Amanda Jean of Crazy Mom Quilts designed a line of fabric for Connecting Threads and it is called Good Neighbors.

A few months ago she shared a charm pack with anyone in our Minneapolis Modern Quilt Guilt challenging a make including another fabric along with at least 12 charms.

I made Kylee's Kite by Quilt in a Day.

I did both machine and hand quilting and made a scrappy binding. It was a fun to make and also to see all the other "Good Neighbor" creations!

My first quilt finish of 2016

It feels good to check one project off my list in 2016.

This quilt is made from the Ambleside line by Brenda Riddle for Moda and the pattern is from the Moda Bake Shop by Melissa Corry. The name of the pattern is All In A Row.

I started this six months ago at our July retreat. I've had the top finished and the quilt basted for some time but wasn't sure how to quilt it. I finally just dug in and started - it took me almost a week since I can't work at the machine for very long at one time. It's far from perfect, but now I'm not afraid to quilt the next one!

It finishes at 58" X 70".

Mostly Manor

This lovely stack of Mostly Manor by Victoria Finlay Wolfe for Marcus Fabrics arrived in my mailbox this week!

It has also arrived in a few online stores and available for sale at Victoria's website .

I couldn't wait to open it up and start playing with the different fabric combination. That's when it hit me that the perfect pattern for Mostly Manor is Steam Punk by Jen Kingwell.

So I dug in to make the first block so you could see how pretty these fabrics look together.

I can't wait to make a bunch more to show you!

Thank you Victoria for the lovely fabric.
