More sewing - not quilts

Still at the sewing machine every day but not making quilts.

Sweet granddaughter wanted a garden fairy theme for her 5th birthday so here is what I made for her to wear:

I can not believe she is five and starting kindergarten in the fall.

Next is something that has been on my list forever:

It's the Scrappy Happy Bag pattern by my friend Crazy Mom Quilts. You can get the pattern here.

Here are a few blocks for April bees:

This one is for my Mid Century Modern bee. A fun 113 piece block!

And this is for my Sew Sisters Bee.

I've started working on the gnome swap projects and here are a few peeks:

Happy Easter

I've done a little sewing with spring and Easter in mind. First is a dress I finished a few weeks back with beautiful fabric by Sara Lawson of Sew Sweetness for Art Gallery Fabric. The line is called Fantasia and all the prints are so pretty.

The pattern is Newlook #50721

This is the second time I've used this Baby-in-the-Hood pattern by Anna Maria Horner. The exterior fabric is a Kokka print and the lining is some hard to find Dick and Jane text print.

I am a Great-Great Aunt and made a little something to send off to Baby Nora. I had some Sherbet Pips jelly roll strips left from another project and found this bib pattern in the book Little Things to Sew by Oliver & S.

It's rather hard to see but I top stitched by hand around the exterior in a medium pink Aurifil 12 wt.

There was an Easter Basket request so I made this Bunny Bucket out of an old line by Tula Pink called Hushabye. For this project I machine quilted with Aurifil 12 wt. in wool - love the look.

And lastly, I caught up on my Mid-Century Modern Bee and Sew Sisters Bee blocks for January and February when we were in Florida.

These are for Cindy.

And this one is for Terri:

Have a Happy & Blessed Easter.
